Does anyone know who this woman is that McCain has pick for is VP pick. I honestly never heard of Governor Sarah Palin from Alaska. But what shocks me the most is that this Governor that I never heard from is now making national news because her teenager daughter is pregnancy. That is not a good way to start off. Hopefully the Republican can put a spin on this to make it into a positive. Because from what I see republicans always in some kind of scandal, either with them or with there families. Especially when they are running for some kind of office.

The immediate reaction to the Palin pick has been very positive - McCain and Palin have jumped to a lead in the polls over Obama and Biden. I was not aware of her as someone who was under consideration either but evidently conservatives like Rush Limbaugh have been pushing her since late spring. With all the different forms of media these days, it is hard to keep track of where a lot of people are getting their information.
