President-Elected Obama hits the ground running!
President-Elected Obama had his first speech after being elected as the 44th president. Obama not yet in office, all ready making plans to get America out the rut that was created by the President Bush. He is already asking for a stimulus package for middle class Americans and also to help the America auto industry get back on the right track to move forward. Obama is really moving swiftly to get America back on track.

And The Winner is......
You guess it Barack Obama. He won this election by a landslide. He has really made history last night. I have so much hope that Obama will get the job, even though it will take him the next four years to do that. I am so glad that Bush is out, not to hurt anyone's feelings. But Bush has really F things up for Americans.
Go Barack Obama!!!!!

Do think their going violence after the election?
I really do think their will be violence after this election. It does not matter who wins the election, I think the reason why is because if Obama wins their will be a few people that will not be happy that an African American man won. Also if McCain their will be a few African American that will not be happy with that outcome. As I was watching CNN, they mention that in a few cities that they are getting SWAT ready just in case. Some people fear that their will be riots going on. Hopefully, this will not happen, but if it does.........

Will Obama win and lose too?
I this election going to be like election 2000? Is Obama going to win the popular vote and lose this election. I think this is going to be like the Gore and Bush election. I feel that Obama has the popular vote but do he have to electoral vote. I really think McCain has this in the bag.

Palin running for President in 2012?
Sources is stated that Palin has decided that she will be running for president 2012. Stickers and t-shirts have already been made for this. I see it if McCain's win she might have some experience at being at president. But I think she would lose if they can not get American out of this economic bust.
Do You think Colin Powell endorsement helps Obama?
To me I think Colin Powell endorsement to Barack Obama was not shocking. The reason why I say that is because after he left President Bush in his second term, i figure he was going to switch over to the democratic side doesn't matter who was democratic nominate. I think this would help Obama with votes because Powell is a republican and he switch sides and I think others will follow. I think the speech Powell gave about his party is moving far right than what he like to see it and feels Obama will bring change to what is going on.

And The Winner Is......
Last night debate was the last chance for McCain's to show that he can be a better candidate then Obama. But I felt that neither candidates showed what they can do for the American people. And who is this "Joe the plumber"? I think that is what through the whole debate off. I don't care for "Joe". I felt that neither show any respond to what they both been preaching about. I felt last night debate was a waste of time.

Democractic Party Platform: Higher Education
In the document of the Democratic Party platform, the topic I choose was higher education. The reason I choose that was because as a college student, I feel that it is important to see what a candidate is going to for me to get through college. As I read about the higher learning section in the document I felt that the democrats hit the hammer on the nail. It quotes " We will make college affordable for all Americans by creating a new American Opportunity Tax Credit to ensure that the first $4,000 of a colleg education is completely free for most American". I think that would be wonderful because with me coming from a single parent home and education is already to expensive on my mother, this would give her the break she need. Especially with my brother. Hopefully they keep to there word because it would help a lot of Americans out if they have kids in/ getting ready to go in college.
Who's to blame for the Bailout?
Do you think President Bush and his office is to blame for this bailout? To me, I think so. After eight years in office, he has American people jumping through hoops and every hoop that Americans have jump in has cause more trouble than the last. Or do you think Speaker Nancy Pelosi is to blame for the loss of the bailout? To me, I do not think so. I think a lot of people feeling got hurt and feet got step on. But should we be scared because of this bailout? To me, I think we should. If mega companies are going down with the market, Americans would not be able to get home loans or live to their means of living. To me, I feel another great depression is on it way.

"Show me the Money"
As I went to "The Huffington Post" I was suprise of what I found on this site. I was so amazed at what I found. I first look up by my last name and was shocked that more Franklin's gave to the Demcracts then Republicans. Also when I look up my zip code I was even more shock to find out that no one in my area code 77053 gave to the Republican party. I think the site is really interesting.

Who is Governor Palin?
Does anyone know who this woman is that McCain has pick for is VP pick. I honestly never heard of Governor Sarah Palin from Alaska. But what shocks me the most is that this Governor that I never heard from is now making national news because her teenager daughter is pregnancy. That is not a good way to start off. Hopefully the Republican can put a spin on this to make it into a positive. Because from what I see republicans always in some kind of scandal, either with them or with there families. Especially when they are running for some kind of office.

DNC Clinton "You Go Girl"
I thought Hillary did an awesome job giving her speech. I feel as a women that she express her support for Obama was amazing. Also that she did it on the day ( 88 years ago from that day) that women could actually have the right to vote was a dream come true. This is history in the making.
